Well, today was great!

The 8:30am service went GREAT today – 50 in attendance!

The 11am service was very different with 50 folks attending the earlier service – but GOD helped us!

The 6pm was awesome – God helped me – my voice was weak from the two morning services – but the annoiting touched me so I could preach! Thank you LORD!

However, with all that said – I must say the best news of the day comes from our Hispanic Campus.

They are only in the second week at the new campus and had one saved today – TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

Their total attendance was 38 – this is also an increase over their regular average!

We are MOVING FORWARD for CHRIST!!!

Easter Weekend was outstanding for Ocoee COG….here are a few updates!!!!!

Easter Drama on Friday night was great – 105 in attendance.
Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday was well attended – 50ish kids (age 11 and under) plus teens and adults.

Easter Sunday was a TRUE blessing.

We launched a new AM English Worship Service. Our AM Worship Services are now at 8:30am and 11am!
We also launched our new Hispanic Campus.
Our choir, Voices of Victory, did a fantastic job with their Easter Musical.
Bishop Harold Hanks preached an outstanding message (twice) on Sunday.

Total attendance for the Main Campus was 247.
Total attendance for the Hispanic Campus was 60.
Total for Ocoee COG on Easter Sunday – 307.

Sunday night was the encore presentation of our Easter Play – I Find No Fault In Him!
The entire cast did an outstanding job!

I’m thankful to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all He as done for me, my family and my church!

As announced on Sunday, February 28, our Hispanic Congregation will be moving to a new home – 153 W. Silver Star Road, Ocoee, FL 34761 – the former site of Harvest Church of God.

We have finalized the details – their first service at the new site will be Easter Sunday, April 4.

To All:

Tonight, for a few moments, while sitting at the dinner table, I began to ponder the wonderful things God has blessed me with.

The last few weeks have been a little over-whelming to say the least.

No, it’s not one single thing, just a lot going on.

Tonight, while sitting and listening, my heart began to swell inside of me as I thought of what God has blessed me with.

Here are a few of those things:

a wife that loves me at all times – Thanks WENDY!!!

three beautiful, healthy children

a wonderful extended family

a wonderful church that’s on the move for Christ – just today – two more things that are part of our VISION for 2010 started to take shape!

a growth in our church that is beyond my comprehension – we start two AM English Worship Services on Easter Sunday.

a hispanic ministry that is making a difference in the lives of those it is reaching – our hispanic pastors are moving to ocoee this weekend!!

a christian school that is now ministering to 18 students – had another interview with a student today! God is good!

a team of leaders and elders that want to see GOD lead us in every STEP of the way!

I could go on and on!

Now, I must admit, the enemy of my soul has not let up one bit – it seems the more God blesses the more he messes!

While I’m thankful for all that God has blessed me with – I’m reminded that all of it would NOT be possible without GOD!!!

I’m so glad that Jesus died on the cross for me! Never let me comprise the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ for man’s approval!

What a great time we had last night at the LIGHT Youth Service.

Guest Speaker Jonathan Church brought a timely message!

Attendance was great!

I’m proud of what the Lord is doing: not only in our church and youth group, but how HE is ‘growing’ our LIGHT youth directors!

And yes, Chris is sporting a mohawk hair do now!

What a great Leadership Meeting we had on Saturday.

From 9am – 3pm, twenty-four leaders from Ocoee Church of God placed everything else on hold and conducted business for he Kingdom!

The meeting ended with a SALT Covenant and Communion!

I’m thankful for what God IS doing at Ocoee Church of God!
