This past weekend, our youth group – LIGHT Youth Ministries, under the direction of Chris and Stacey Cantu, traveled to the Church of God Campground in Wimauma, Florida for the Encounter Youth Retreat!

All of our students that attended were touched by God – even the youth directors were touched!!  Praise the Lord!!

This Saturday, January 30, our youth group will host a youth service.

The start time is 6pm at the church campus with a time of fellowship and activities after the service.

The special guest speaker will be Rev. Jonathan Church!

This Saturday, January 30, I will meet with the leadership staff/volunteers of Ocoee Church of God to share with them the vision that God has burdened my heart with in 2010.

The time on Saturday will include worship, communion, covenant, planning, etc for the new year!

The very next day, Sunday, January 31, has been set aside as Vision Sunday – a time where I will share the vision during the AM Worship Service with those in attendance.

2010 is going to be a good year for Ocoee Church of God Ministries!

I did not attend the evening service tonight…I thought it was needful for me to travel to Orange Park, FL to spend time with mom and Lamar.

Lamar has been very sick for several weeks.

Please remember him in your prayers.

I heard great reports from the service tonight.

I’m thankful for those leaders that ‘made it happen’ so I could be with family!

God is moving at Ocoee Church of God and for that I’m thankful!!!

What a great service this morning in the house of the Lord.

Our hearts were heavy for the Callahan family on the loss of Theresa Callahan – no funeral arrangements as of yet.

We are also remembering Marie Mulkey and Jewell Simmons (sisters) in our prayers! They BOTH need a physical touch from God!

I’m thankful for God’s FAITHFULNESS!

Revival services with Rev. Michael Stephens were dynamic!

Each night, the worship was outstanding and the word brought by Bro. Stephens was fantastic.

I’d like to say thanks to everyone that supported the services in any way at all.

We will begin revival with Rev. Michael Stephens tonight.

Sunday night will begin at 6pm, Monday through Friday will begin at 7:30pm.

On Wednesday night, our children’s department, Kids For Christ (KFC), will be conducting a children’s service.

KFC will begin receiving children at 7pm – service time is 7:30pm.
